“I began painting by numbers as a young girl and as I grew older got quite involved in ceramics. This eventually lead to teaching and opening my own studio as a certified teacher. As folk art became more popular, I took classes and incorporated it into my studio. I have taught folk art for over 18 years teaching at schools, art and craft stores, senior and community centres. My heart is in folk art, which is why my acrylic paintings tend to be whimsical."
